The challenge
The community was real and growing, but it lived in tools that made it feel like everyone else’s. The experience flattened the thing that made it special.
What we built
- A members’ space with a sense of geography — rooms, paths, and arrival, not endless feed
- Onboarding that makes a new member feel like they walked into somewhere, not signed up
- Rituals and progression built into the structure, so belonging compounds
- The unglamorous engine underneath — auth, payments, roles — solid and invisible
The result
Members stopped “checking the group” and started showing up to a place. Retention followed belonging.
